WHAT’S HAPPENING AT GDT?

Now Enrolling for 2025-2026 Season!

Summer is almost here, and it may mean slowing down and relaxing, but we are already gearing up for our 2025-2026 Dance Season here at Greensboro Dance Theatre! We are excited to share that we are now enrolling in our Rec Classes for the fall!

Our new dance season begins September 2, 2025 and runs through May 30, 2026!  Classes may still be a few months away, but registration is open now!  Class spaces fill up very quickly at GDT, so you will want to secure your class spot as soon as possible!

You will receive $10 off of your dancer's registration fee if you register before June 16! You can click the link below to get started! From there, you will log into Dance Studio Pro to get registered!

Nutcracker Audition registration is now live!

Dancers should wear a black leotard and tights, and ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled back from the face neatly, preferably in a bun. 

All dancers should pre-register at the link here to let us know you plan to audition.

June 3 and June 12 (need only attend one audition to be considered):

4:00 - 4:30 Ages 5 - 7

4:45 - 5:30 Ages 8 - 10

5:45 - 6:30 Ages 11 -13

6:45 - 7:45 Ages 14 +

Dancers will be assessed by skill level and age for placement in our Nutcracker. Please note that attending an audition may not guarantee a part in our production.

Previous ballet experience is recommended for dancers aged 10+ that plan to audition.
